Detox Delight coffee shop

I discovered the brand Detox Delight in Paris some time ago and I loved it immediately, simply because it is very good: the ingredients are top quality, the textures and the flavours are great, it is gluten free, vegan and some options are raw. It is a bit pricey, I know, but quality has its demands and I know it as well. I was happy to discover that Detox Delight has recently opened a coffee shop, juice bar and take-away in Paris Marais so I went there last week to scoop what was new.

J’ai découvert la marque Detox Delight il y a deux ans à Paris et depuis lors je l’ai toujours bien aimée. Les ingrédients sont toujours ultra-frais et triés sur le volet, c’est sans gluten, vegan, avec des options crues. Les textures sont super tout comme le goût, jamais laissé de coté parce qu’on parle detox! C’est un peu cher, je sais, mais je sais aussi que la qualité demande un prix parfois. J’ai été contente de voir que récemment la marque a ouvert un café, bar à jus, avec take away dans le Marais et la semaine dernière j’y suis allée pour voir ce qu’il y avait de nouveau à découvrir.

I had my favourite cold-pressed juice at Detox Delight that comes with a nice blend of apples, zucchini, beetroot and lemon. I can sound maybe strange as combination of ingredients but I can tell, it is very good. I also tried the açai bowl and to me the one at Detox Delight is the best I had in Paris so far: delicious pistachio toppings with raw chocolate biscuits.

J’ai pris mon jus pressé à froid préféré chez Detox Delight: un mix de pommes, courgette, betterave et citron; ça peut paraitre une combinaison d’ingrédients un peu étrange mais je peux vous dire qu’il est très bon. J’ai adoré l’açai bowl, vraiment délicieux! Généreux en topping - j’aime beaucoup la pistache - avec des biscuits au cacao cru, très bons eux-aussi. Pour moi, aujourd’hui, c’est le meilleur açai bowl de Paris.

Another good news is that at Detox Delight the lovely cook that I had the chance to meet shares with us her raw dishes and finds from Monday to Friday: I had raw pizza, my first ever! It was different but good. Detox Delight is opened also on the weekends with the take-away to eat at the lovely coffee shop or on the go.

Une autre bonne nouvelle chez Detox Delight café, c’est que la sympathique cuisinière que j’ai pue rencontrer nous prépare plein de bon plats crus du lundi au vendredi, donc une nouveauté à ne pas louper! J’ai mangé pour la 1e fois de ma vie une pizza crue! C’était différent mais bon. Le week-end le café reste ouvert et il y a plein de bonnes salades, soupe, et petits plats à déguster sur place ou à emporter.

And because Detox rhymes also with Delight, I was there another day for an afternoon French gouter and enjoyed one matcha latte with almond milk and one yummy gluten free chocolate chip cookie by Helmut Newcake pastry shop in Paris. Ah….My sweet tooth! Actually all the pastries at Detox Delight are signed by Helmut, the first 100% gluten free pastry shop in Paris.

A big thank you to the staff at Detox Delight coffee shop: they are really super nice, I spent a nice moment there and look forward to going back.

Comme Detox rhyme ici avec Delight, je suis retournée un autre jour pour un goûter et j’ai prix un matcha latte avec lait d’amandes et un cookie aux pépites de chocolat sans gluten de chez Helmut Newcake à Paris. En fait tous les pâtisseries chez Detox Delight sont signées par Helmut, la toute première adresse parisienne 100% sans gluten. Ma gourmandise était bien apaisée!

Un grand merci au personnel du café Detox Delight, vraiment très gentil et pro à la fois. J’y ai passé un bon moment et j’espère y retourner bientôt.
