In a city like Paris where 100% gluten free organic restaurants are still a rare find, I am more than happy to tell you that I have found another one: the Italian restaurant Tasca Bio.
And I am even happier to tell you that Tasca Bio is located a few blocks from the Eiffel Tour, that is actually great news for all those tourists paying a visit to the French Iron Lady who wish to eat gluten free, fuzz free food that tastes great.
Tasca Bio was born from an idea of Ciro and GianPaolo Polge, two brothers who have been living in Paris for more than twenty years, always cooking and running different restaurants in the city. Due to the growing demand of gluten free food, they decided to create a place completely devoted to Italian food, free of gluten and with no risk of cross contamination.
The menu includes pizza, pasta, gnocchi, Italian cheese and salads, tiramisù and many other typical desserts.
For the Neapolitan that I am, I went straight for a pizza with tomatoes, basil and bufala mozzarella, my favourite! It was good and very easy to digest.
After Paolo made me taste the house made lemon tart with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
I can say that you can really spoil yourself spending a great time in a good company as Paolo and his staff are super nice and friendly.
Also, for lunch, you can have formulas that start from 15,50 euro.
