Nikkei bar and restaurant

Yesterday, after a visit to the wonderful market of Calle Feria, Rocco and I headed to Alameda de Hercules square to eat in another of his favourite spots in Sevilla: Nikkei bar and restaurant that is specialised in Asian and Peruvian food.

They also have a allergies food menu so we could check what had gluten and what not, and I was lucky as the gluten free food I ate was some of the best ever to me!

We started with some nigiri and the daily one was a scrumptious tuna with green lemon mayonnaise. It was like a symphony of taste and textures in my mouth…so good…we asked for another one immediately ;)!

I opted also for some nigiri with marinated pork that was incredibly good as well. Besides its form and shape reminded me of some Japanese fish… swimming in my plate!

My main course was chicken and vegetables noodles. I love noodles. They are like one perfect comfort food.

In Sevilla there is a good price/quality ratio in general and Nikkei certainly had one too. The food was super fresh and top quality. The price we paid, completely reasonable that makes you just want to come back more and more.

If you go, the nigiri are a must and the cooks are so talented to orchestrate different textures, flavours and ingredients on your dish, they are so beautiful to see and what a taste.
