100% gluten free close to Bastille!

Today I am very happy to tell you about Kopi Cream a small, cosy coffee shop located just a few blocks from the famous Place de la Bastille in Paris.

I met Georges, the owner and founder, when he opened last September.

I was immediately touched by his kindness, his smile and warm welcoming.

Furthermore, since the beginning of this new adventure, Georges has also proposed cakes and pastries that are gluten free.

Actually Georges’ mother is intolerant to gluten and that has made him sensitive to this issue and he has decided to create a place where he could welcome in also people with food intolerances.

Imagine my happy face when I went back to Kopi Cream this weekend to have breakfast with my dear friend Elise and I discovered that the coffee shop has become…100% gluten free!

Granola, pastries and cakes are from the l’Atelier des Lilas, that is specialised in the production of gluten free foods and that is certified by the l’AFDIAG, the French Celiac Association.

For lunch Georges proposes French quiches always from l’Atelier des Lilas and fresh sandwiches that he makes daily with the gluten free bread he buys at La Maison du Sans gluten, the first and only 100% gluten free boutique in Paris.

On Saturdays and Sundays, it’s brunch and you just need to book it in advance. You can send a message to Georges via Kopi Cream Facebook page.

But surprises are not over yet, I will let you discover them when you go…

Thank you so much Georges for your warm, kind smile and the glorious gluten free food!
