Smart Green Corner vegan restaurant

If you are in Bordeaux on a Sunday and you are gluten free like myself or vegan like my friend Alexandra from Passion du Pain, it might be a kind of challenge to have brunch. Well, we made it today thanks to Smart Green Corner, a restaurant with self-service that is 100% organic, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan…and open on Sunday! We headed there immediately.

I know I have chosen not to talk « prices » on my blog, but this time it’s too good not too. Basically for 14,90 euro you can choose whatever you want from the buffet, plus you have one freshly pressed juice, one hot cup of your choice, soup and dessert, all included in the brunch formula. Besides everything is home-made, organic and cooked fresh everyday, all the vegetables are steamed to preserve the maximum of nutritional properties and health benefits. To me that’s simply great.

My fave today were the zucchini+buckweat, the quinoa+broccoli, and the chilli with red beans, really good. The orange cake I took for dessert was soft and moist, just the way I like it. The herbal tea fantastic and I am not an easy one on this 😉
