For those of you who have been reading my posts, you might know that I can’t stay away too long from a good gluten free pizza.

When I went to Turin for work last week, I started to look for the best spot in town where I could eat one.

My researches ended up in a restaurant + pizzeria called Pan per Focaccia and I decided to book a table.

Pan per Focaccia is nested in the famous « Quadrilatero Romano »,  the heart of old Turin, opposite a beautiful and picturesque square, Largo IV Marzo.

I was amazed to look at the wide choice of gluten free dishes, pizzas, and desserts that they offer. You can really splurge and eat whatever you might desire!

I opted for a pizza called « Albese DOC » : a mix of Fassona carpaccio (typical meat from the region of Piemonte – raw and cut extra thin), melted cheese called « fonduta/fondue », artichokes and Parmiggiano Reggiano cheese flakes. I loved it!

Followed by a second pizza called « Piemontese DOC » with sausages, potatoes, leek, mozzarella and typical Robiola cheese from Roccaverano.

The pizza crust was really good.

At Pan per Focaccia, all the ingredients are top quality, fresh, and locally sourced. The staff is very friendly and professional. They told me that they have been experimenting gluten free food for many years with the aim of providing food that is as good as its gluten counterpart.

I tasted the gluten free pizza and as a Neapolitan gal like myself who is quite demanding about it 😉 I can say now that I recommend Pan per Focaccia 🙂
