Detox Delight 

This week I made a nice discovery at Bien in Paris, my favorite organic food store, Detox Delight!

As an Italian, I see food as a way to take care of myself, it is an act of love towards myself and the people I cook for. So whenever I find a brand that shares this same spirit I am all for it.

Detox Delight was founded by Astrid Purzer in Munich in 2009 and has now become a successful business that delivers you home detox foods to use as a treatment to stay healthy, feel better and treat your body gently.

Their philosophy is actually focused on a natural, nutrient-rich diet to support the self-purification powers of our body.

So here I am, feeling proud with my lovely bag of Detox Delight products all to try and to enjoy and some beautiful flowers to decorate home. By the way, these products are all flour-free and naturally gluten free. I decided to choose one jar for breakfast, one soup and a juice: at Detox Delight everything is super fresh and prepared daily.

I must admit that I buy with the eyes and when I saw that pinky punky Beetroot Pear soup, I could not resist having it! The ingredients are simple and natural: Beetroot, Pear, Onion, Cashews, Lemon, Wasabi, Himalayan Salt, Black Pepper. I was amazed about how delicious it tasted and also the velvety texture of the soup, it was perfect. I could almost guess the flavor of each ingredient I was eating. For breakfast I had soya yogurt with carrot cream and homemade granola.Very good.

The juice I chose was a mix of apple, cucumber, black grape, red cabbage, lemon, rose-water and red beetroot. I loved the rose-water that I could feel it along with all the other flavors. I enjoyed making it playful and sipping it as a cocktail in the evening. I had also the Juice Delight with Carrots, Orange, Ginger, Aloe Vera. I found the texture really amazing: the juices feel as light as water can be but they are so rich in taste!
