Today we get to know Bien a bit better. Anne-Claire Meret – Communication Manager and Naturopath at Bien – answers to our questions.
Chiara: Why gluten free?
Anne-Claire: Because it is necessary to start eating “bien” that means well. Eating well is about eating healthy foods and take care of our health, getting to know what it is good for us, without leaving taste apart. At Bien we have a team of naturopaths that are ready to give clients advice. We often suggest them to try to be on a gluten free diet for at least a few weeks and see if they start feeling better. It is what happens most of the times!
Chiara: What is Bien?
Anne-Claire: Bien l’épicerie is a two-venues grocery store (soon there will be more) that opened in the Marais neighborhood in Paris one year ago. Our shops are lively, friendly, welcoming places. All the products are selected with much care and love. Most of them are organic, Demeter certified (a label that refers to the biodynamic agriculture) and of course, gluten free. We propose also professional advice, many recipes and we abound with new ideas.
Chiara: What is the gluten free food that you love eating the most?
Anne-Claire: I think the lemon tart at Chambelland gluten free bakery in Paris, so good!

Because we often see that when people start taking care of themselves, they start becoming happier. They begin to spend some time to choose the ingredients that are good for them, they are more willing to put colors in their dishes and all that is fun!
