Soup & Go take away restaurant

While I was in Turin for work last week, I discovered Soup & Go, a new food concept that offers natural, healthy meals, simple and easy to eat but still full of taste and fun.

Fausto, the founder, gave up his career in a big American company while he was living abroad, came back to Turin and opened his first Soup & Go restaurant and coffee shop.

Today Soup & Go is also in Milan and has an Ape car that you can spot delivering delicious soups and salads in the streets of Turin.

Lucky for me they have several options on the menu that are also gluten free.

I was there for lunch and tried their fresh cold soups. I had the green gaspacho with asparagus, zucchini, lettuce, basil, parsley, onion, celery, carrot, olive oil, salt. So good! My friend had the red gaspacho with tomatoes and dill. Beautiful to see and good to eat 😉

I also enjoyed a salad, a fantastic tortilla with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. My dessert, well, it was a delicious gluten free tiramisu.

At Soup & Go they are also specialised in fresh juices and smoothies. I took one with ginger, carrot, pineapple. Loved it !

Next time I am in town I will check out the Ape car. As a kid I loved those little Ape, they were very common in the South of Italy where I grew up as a kid and are very popular now in Italy to drive food around.

Can’t wait to see the Soup & Go branded new Ape car and try another of their delicious soups.
