Sol Semilla is a French brand that is specialised in super foods: from açai to raw acerola, from raw cocoa butter, nibbles and powder to maca, lucuma, raw spirulina and so much more…all these foods are sourced locally, Sol Semilla knows all about its suppliers, they are always in touch with them and work closely with the objective of respecting the earth, the farmers, their work, the products and bring to Europe only the best possibile super foods.
I love their products, I am learning little by little to use them in my daily diet and get to feel the real pure, good energy that any super food can provide.
My friends Chloe and Ann from Veggie Magnifique offered me these delicious kale chips with maca powder and mustard.
Maca is well know to give a good boost of energy to our body. Sol Semilla maca is also available as powder and it comes from Junin and Cerro de Pasco in Perù where it grow at 3950 à 4400 mt.
Kale is “the” vegetable that is just perfect for any moment of the day: here it comes organic and de-hydrated, crunchy and super tasty. I loved eating it for an aperitivo with home-made beetroot and Savoy cabbage spreads.
Seasoned with tamarin sauce, kale chips at Sol Semilla are also gluten free.
To discover who’s behind Sol Semilla, it’s in my interview to Joelma Leitao:
