I don’t think that Selfridges in London needs any presentation at all but if you happen not to know it, it is the Department Store to go and visit when you are in the city. Despite the display of the best of each fashion power house and more, I like the way it is done, the creativity, the innovation, the fun, the beauty, the wide selections of articles and the Food Hall, well, that is just pure magic to me.

The last time I went there, I wanted to check out their gluten free aisle and I actually found a very nice display of products. The staff was very nice and let me took a few pictures of them. From gluten free fresh pasta to pizza, from soups (quite many) to biscuits and cookies, you can really splurge. As I didn’t have much time left as my train was about to leave in a couple of hours, I chose the biscotti from a brand called Peace of Cake. I loved the name and the biscotti as well that I enjoyed later at home with some very good English breakfast tea.

As a gal born in Naples, for sure I will go for the pizza next time I am there. Besides the Lab, an innovative brand established in London in 2012, is aiming at providing organic pizzas that take care good about our pleasure as well as our health. Their pizza range is supposed to be lower in fat, carbohydrates and salt than ordinary pizzas. It makes me really curious. Another brand that triggered my imagination is Soupology. Soupology is gluten free and also dairy free. The recipes look really tempting and I love its colours, so vibrant, sparkling and pop.
