Plant Power Food in Copenhagen is one of the best vegan restaurants that I have ever been to in my life of food writer and blogger.

Everything is plant-based, organic, oil-free, refined sugar-free, sustainable and almost all is also gluten free and raw.

Renown and talented chef Neel Engholm worked many years in Barcelona and Los Angeles, also for the famous vegan chef Matthew Kenney, before moving back to Copenhagen and launch her own restaurant with athlete and business partner Casper Bilton.

Plant Power Food opened in the lovely, upbeat, and dynamic Nørrebro, Copenhagen, almost one year ago.

That plants have powers and are precious for our well-being, we know, but mastering and cooking them the way Neel Engholm does, it’s pure art, incredible technique combined with a good dose of free spirit, and pure creativity.

Her approach to plant-based food is original, creative, vibrant, and incredibly good!

From her amazing salad bowls, available both cold and hot, and served with the most delicious tahini dressing I have ever tasted, to dehydrated crackers and vegetables to preserve a maximum of health benefits, that you can dip into amazing vegan sauces, to avocado toasts and several other sandwiches, to the most delicious breakfast bowl of my life with homemade cashew cream, fresh fruit, rhubarb compote and grilled oats, from super food lattes to smoothies, green juices and homemade kefir water with beet and ginger, to seasonal desserts and raw cakes… I loved loved and loved this food and restaurant SO much !
