Nest take away restaurant

Last Saturday I headed to Opéra to run some errands in the neighbourhood and decided to stop for lunch at Nest, a take away restaurant specialised in Vietnamese foods with several gluten free options on the menu.

It’s been like ages since the last time I ate spring rolls.

Every time I go to an Asian restaurant for example I can’t eat them because of the soy sauce with wheat, or the wheat flour and so and so… I ended up feeling frustrated because I love spring rolls and used to have them before discovering I was celiac.

Imagine how happy I was when I eat Priscilla’s !

They are made out of rice and flax seeds.

I chose the vegetarian option with avocado, raw vegetables and a typical Vientamese Nuoc Mam sauce, delicious !

My main course was a detox salad with jeune pousses salad, avocado, chicken, cucumber, carrot pickles, fried onions, fresh red onion, cranberries, feta cheese, flax seeds, honey and ginger sauce. Loved this one too.

Besides at Nest, all the juices are fresh and organic. Priscilla, chef at the restaurant, works by selecting the best ingredients and then following her inspirations, creates dishes that are typical of the best Asian cuisine.

Next time I am back, I will try their gluten free dessert as well, promise!
