This week my dear friend Chiara came to visit me in Paris. I was so happy to see her and decided to go for a girls’ night out. First dinner. What about a gluten free bento? Well, Nanashi! At Nanashi, I know they handle also ingredients with gluten. However, the staff was professional and nice and could accomodate me with some very tasty gluten free options.

As as a starter I took a delicate marinated tofu with avocado cream, followed by shitake mashrooms and black radicchio, delicious!
My bento was Chirashi with organic salmon. Basically it was raw salmon, sprouts, rice, sesame seeds and wasabi sauce. Very good and fresh.

As dessert, they tell me that usually they have different gluten free options like fruit crumble with rice flour or polenta cake. The evening I went to Nanashi, these options were not on the menu but I still got one of the best desserts ever. Baked fruit with vanilla and cinnamon, cream and roasted almonds. I know it can sound simple but the fruit was perfectly baked, the cream was gently sour and the almond, well I love them!
It was definitely a nice dinner out with one of my very best friends!
