Home Sweet Home is Muriel’s Kitchen motto and welcome for people like me looking for a place in the city that makes us feel at ease, that is warm like home, where the food is fresh, home-cooked and prepared daily with care and love like my granny used to make when I was a child.

Muriel’s kitchen is definitely this place + a three venues restaurant in London that serves British classics with a modern twist.
Luckily for us gluten free eaters, it is also gluten free friendly. There are always some options on the menu that we can choose and that are naturally gluten free.
This time I chose a trio of salads:
Caramelized pear, goat cheese and lentil salad with cherry tomatoes + Beetroot and quinoa medley with roasted garlic, sweet potatoes and walnut +Seasonal green salad with cucumber ribbons, French beans, spinach and chia seeds.
For dessert I had Polenta cake with orange and cheese cream frosting, it was delicious!
And last time I was at Muriel’s I splurged in an amazing white chocolate and strawberry sponge cake …mmmmhhh…photo below.
The ambience is very pleasant as well, the staff is professional and friendly, willing to accommodate you and help you out in any possible way. I do hope to go back soon.
