One of my favorite gluten free restaurants in Paris!
This week I went back to one of my favourite spots in Paris, Lula.
Lula is a veggie, organic restaurant with several gluten free and vegan options on the menu. It is located in the rue Saint Maur, in the 11th arrondissement. I personally love this neighbourhood a lot: to the eyes of a foreigner living in Paris like myself, it looks eclectic and authentic at the same time. There are always new spots opening up and sending out good vibes. The old ones have a charm of their own.
It’s been a while since my last time at Lula and I am happy to see again Luciana who founded this restaurant with her sister Natalia. Luciana introduced me to Emilie, the new pastry chef; together they cook fresh food everyday with much energy, fun and love. I can say that it shows, you will see it in your plate and also in the atmosphere, so cosy and homey. I also love the large street windows that let the light coming in from the outside. It is also fun to me to see people passing by in the street. Looking at the others make me discover new things about myself.
Back to my gluten free meal, I opted for a lunch menu which included a hot soup, one main dish and dessert.
