Today we get to know Lula a bit better. Lula is a lovely veggie, organic restaurant in Paris with several gluten free options on the menu. Luciana – co-founder along with her sister Natalia – answers to my questions.

Chiara: Why gluten free?

Luciana: We have clients that started asking us for gluten free foods, they were looking for an alternative way of eating. We come from Colombia and we are used to eat quinoa and corn that are naturally gluten free. Living in France, we just learnt to combine our cuisine with the French one. At Lula we serve also gluten free bread and cakes that are homemade and fresh.

Chiara: What is Lula?

Luciana: Lula was my nickname when I was I child. Today Lula is a restaurant that combines organic, vegetarian, gluten free and vegan foods, all together. This idea is to cook healthy food for everybody!

Chiara: What is the gluten free food that you love eating the most?

Luciana: It’s a cake made with my sister Natalia. More than the cake in itself, it was the taste of victory as we succeeded in baking our very first gluten free cake and it was very good!

Chiara: Gluten free is …

Luciana: Change.
