This week I discovered a new vegan take away restaurant in Paris: Le Veganovore. Recently opened in the “Grands Boulevards” neighbourhood, it proposes a healthy tasty menu for lunch that is also 100% organic, with ingredients that are locally sourced.
What came as a happy surprise to me was that Elsa, the lovely owner and cook, can adapt the whole menu to gluten free. Actually all the ingredients are cooked separately so she can accommodate clients’ different requests and needs. The kitchen is the same so traces of gluten can be possible.
I had such a nice meal: I took the daily soup with butternut, carrots and curry, the veggie bowl was simply delicious and the chickpeas houmous with beetroot was fantastic! For the dessert, I opted for a “compote” made of sweet potato, mandarine and toasted hazelnuts, simple yet so good!.
Hope to go back soon.
