Le Potager du Marais is another place that I like very much in Paris. It is a vegetarian restaurant that opened in the Marais neighborhood 12 years ago. Since 2 years they have been experimenting also vegan and gluten free cuisine.
I was positively impressed by the wide choice of gluten free dishes they have on the menu. You can splurge in so many options from the entrée to different main courses to dessert.
To start I had the “Croustillant du Potager”, one of their specialties. It was made of a quinoa burger with mushroom sauce, brown thai rice with almonds, “ratatouille” of vegetables, and pears. I loved it!
I went there also in another occasion with Giulia, Baci di Dama chef and friend, and I had a delicious “Cassoulet de la mer” with fresh algae, smoked tofu, roasted hazelnuts, mixed salad, and buckwheat.
A vegetable cocktail with beetroot, carrots and celery was my drink.
For dessert I opted for a vegan and gluten free crème brûlée with ginger. It was delicious!
Next time I will go there I already know what I will be having: gluten free crumble with red cherries, one of my favorite desserts ever.
