Who said that healthy food cannot rhyme with gourmandise?
Who said that gluten free is a restriction or somehow sad?
Well, this week I went back to La Guinguette d’Angèle to show to those who have still not “faith” that actually it is possible to eat great tasting gluten free food that is also very good 😉
La Guinguette d’Angèle was created by Angèle Maeght Ferreux who is specialised in Naturapathy and was curious about food since she was a child. Growing up, that curiosity became a passion and today Angèle along with her team provides both a catering service and a take away in Paris 1st arrondissement. The food is super fresh, seasonal, organic, gluten free with several vegan options available everyday. To me, besides being really good, it is also one of the best price/quality ration in town.
Here I am having an incredibly delicious vegan gluten free lunch box with red cabbage, broccoli, celery turnip, rice leaves and sesame oil.
I also had her crunchy gluten free granola: I love granola so much and this one is made of pecan and maple syrup.
What about a carrot cake? How to resist to something that beautiful and yummy at the same time?
Don’t worry, I did not had everything at the same time even though I wanted it! It’s difficult to be “wise” when you are surrounded by Angèle’s great food 🙂
But I have tasted the matcha white chocolate chip cookie and the vegan and gluten free pannacotta with matcha and almond milk. One word…. delicious!
At La Guinguette d’Angèle, every dish is studied carefully to bring us all the precious nutrients that we need to kick off our day properly.
Angèle proposes ingredients and combinations that can be beneficial for our health, like fresh açai or matcha for example, that are also very tasty. Gourmandise is always on the menu.
