Keïli is Keïli, a beautiful, vibrant American young woman who after working in the gluten free business in France decided to launch her own brand. Keïli is also a gluten free catering specialized in organic, fresh, local food, prepared to be both healthy and gourmand. On Saturday I tasted Keïli gluten free brunch at the French épicerie Causses.

Everything looked just so beautiful, the food was arranged and displayed with exquisite taste and care. The brunch formula was “help yourself”, actually like home. I was surprised as it is a first for me here in Paris and I was more than happy to serve myself with all the delicious gluten free food prepared by Keïli.
I started with a strawberry salad with balsamic vinegar, black olives, blue cheese and fresh basil. I think that the photo I took says well by itself how good it was.
The gluten free bread was by Chambelland bakery in Paris (you can read my older post on Chambelland:
http://bacididamaglutenfree.com/en/portfolio/chambelland/).
Included in the menu also a freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, tea or coffee by choice. I went for green tea. Love it so much.

I tasted two other salads:
_one with blueberries, roasted radish, avocado and green sprouts
_the other one with green beans, melon, peaches, cherries, blue cheese.
They were both super fresh, good quality ingredients and so yummy!
There is no brunch without eggs.
Mine were perfectly fried. My side dish was a mix of yellow and red tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil and chives. I also had a Veg Hash with potatoes, chickpeas, onion stems, chives, coriander and feta cheese. Very good.
And of course there is no Keïli without a good American brownie. I had it with fresh strawberries and oh my…, it was delicious !
François, Keïli’s associate partner, told me that this was their last summer brunch at Causses but I do hope that they will be back in September.
Anyway you can conctat Keïli on her website page if you want her to oganize a fabulous gluten free party event or simply have healthy and gourmand gluten free food delivered home for you. At Keïli, they organize workshops too, maybe you can get to know the secret of her perfect gluten free brownie 😉

And if you happen to be in Paris, I invite you to visit Causses : it is a French grocery store devoted to simple, fresh, top quality food with a very nice brands selection. I love their fruit + vegetables and I always find some very good gluten free products to buy.
