Here I am again on my urban quest to explore the best coffee shops in Paris where I can both enjoy a good cup of coffee or a cappuccino and of course, some tasty gluten free food. Coutume café is one of the most popular in the city: founded in 2010 by Tom Clark and Antoine Nétien, who was awarded best French coffee roaster in 2011, it won public and fame very quickly due to the coffee they select with great care, roast and sell from Paris to Japan. I was very happy to find out that along with the menu, they have a food allergy chart available, so if we have food sensitivities or intolerance, we can select our food with real care.
Speaking gluten free, all salads are and I enjoyed one with wild salmon: the food was top quality, fresh and very tasty. I loved it!
The great news is that at Coutume there are two gluten free desserts available: one with almonds and the cheesecake. I love cheesecakes so much and went straight for it. It is not that sweet, I liked its consistency and the taste. With my morning cappuccino, it was perfect.
Another thing that I love about Coutume is that the place is friendly and welcoming, the wi-fi works beautifully and it is one of my favourite places to work in Paris.
