Bob’s Kitchen is one of my favorite vegetarian places in Paris where you can find several options that are also vegan and gluten free.

Born in 2006, Bob’s Kitchen, along with Bob’s Juice Bar and Bob’s Bake Shop, is the brainchild of Marc Grossman, New Yorker in Paris and food lover, who has been concocting recipes that are good, healthy, and prepared fresh everyday using only the best ingredients.

The menu varies according to the season and today I took the vegan and gluten free Veggie Stew with brown rice, mixed vegetable, and a delicious Indian biryani lentil sauce. It was spicy but not too much, just the way I like it.

As Bob is particularly famous for his juices, I tried the Green Smoothie with baby spinach, mango and banana. Loved it!

For dessert the choice was simple, at least for me: I went straight for a slice of a super yummy gluten free chocolate plumcake.

I couldn’t resit bringing another dessert home with me: I opted for the chia pudding with blue berries and coconut milk. I sweetened it with some agave syrup they gave me at Bob’s. It was tasty and light, the perfect way to end up a long working day.

pS I have been told that another of Bob’s specialities include gluten free pancakes made of buckwheat flour and rice milk. They are available everyday until 11.30 am and on the weekend all the day long. Can’t wait to be back and try them.
